EXTREME ELITE LEAGUE

Extreme Elite League Overview

The Extreme Elite League is perfect for EFFL fantasy football veterans and features one league with unlimited teams.

This is our exclusive league. To join you must qualify with a minimum of 15 EFFL Status Points (see the graphic below).

In this league, the “winner takes all”! Only the League Champion receives the prize money. The League Champion will also receive a physical trophy. This payout will be the biggest amount across all EFFL Leagues.

Extreme Elite League uses the standard EFFL rules and scoring systems.

Regular Season: Weeks 1-18

Our 18 week regular season is broken into two 9-week halves. The first half is NFL weeks 1-9 and the second half is NFL weeks 10-18.

For each half, you may select any player or team once. This unique format sets Extreme Fantasy Football League apart from other platforms: you don’t have to worry about other team owners taking your ideal player or team. You have all NFL players to choose from, with the exception of Offensive Linemen and individual Defensive players.

For instance, you could choose Patrick Mahomes as your quarterback in Week 1, but you wouldn’t be able to select him again until Week 10, when the second 9-week half begins. (See graphic above).

Selections must be made before the start of the player’s or team’s game. Once the game begins, selections are locked in until the following week.

EFFL offers another advantage: long-term injuries will no longer ruin your fantasy season! With a weekly lineup submission, if one of your selected players gets injured, you simply avoid selecting them in future weeks and choose another preferred player. This eliminates the need to scramble for trades or scour the waiver wire.

For example, when Aaron Rodgers got injured in Week 1 of the 2023 season, team owners just selected a different QB for their future line-ups. No stress or risking their championship status.

There are minimal time requirements! It takes less than 5 minutes to set up your weekly line-up. Conduct as much research as you’d like to craft your dream fantasy football season.

Each week you will select:

    • 1 Quarterback
    • 2 Running Backs
    • 2 Wide Receivers
    • 1 Tight End
    • 1 Kicker
    • 1 Offensive Team
    • 1 Defensive Team

In EFFL, you don’t compete in Head-to-Head matchups; instead, you compete against every team in your league every week. Points are awarded to each player/team in your lineup based on Official EFFL scoring. These points are tallied, and teams are ranked weekly by the number of TOTAL WINS against all other teams in their league.

The top two teams for each 9-week half will advance to the Playoffs. But! A team does not need to play all 18 weeks to advance. This is also unique to EFFL: you may join a league in Week 10 & still have a chance to become the League Champion.

For clarity, you could join a league in Week 10, have the first or second highest points (total wins against all other teams in your league) at the end of Week 18, and compete in the Playoffs.

BONUS: If a team is in the top two for each 9-week half, they get their League Entry Fee refunded. Your league must have a minimum of 10 teams to be eligible to receive the bonus.

Playoffs: Weeks 19-20

Our playoffs occur during NFL weeks 19 and 20. The top two teams from each 9-week half will advance (see above). Again, teams do not compete head-to-head, but against all other teams who made the playoffs. The team with the most total wins during weeks 19 and 20 will become the League Champion.

Tiebreaker #1: Total playoff points

Tiebreaker #2: Most total wins during regular season (NFL Weeks 1-18)
